In Their Own Words: Why Bill’s ‘Bimbos’ Fear a Hillary Presidency

by Aaron Klein Dec. 28 2015
breitbart.com

As women’s issues become part of the 2016 presidential race, it may be instructive to  review recent statements made by some of Bill Clinton’s alleged female victims  regarding the ambitions of Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.

Last week, Hillary accused Republican canddiate Donald Trump of having a “penchant for  sexism” in an interview with the Des Moines Register in Iowa.  The billionaire fired  back on Twitter: “Be careful Hillary as you play the war on women or women being  degraded card.”

Trump followed up with a second tweet, saying, “Hillary, when you complain about ‘a  penchant for sexism,’ who are you referring to? I have great respect for women. BE  CAREFUL!”

Clinton has sought to portray her campaign as one that is fighting for women’s rights.   On several occasions, she has tweeted about sex assault survivors’ right to be  believed, and awkwardly starred in a campaign ad in which she insisted that one must  always side with women who accuse men of sexual assault – a strange position given that  her husband was repeatedly accused of precisely that crime.

“You have the right to be heard. You have the right to be believed. We’re with you,”  Clinton said in the video, which she addressed to “every survivor of sexual assault.”

Since Hillary first announced her candidacy in April, my weekend talk radio program has  become a support center of sorts in which Bill’s female accusers tell their newly  relevant stories; a safe-space for these women to sound off about the way they were  allegedly treated by both Bill and Hillary. The theme that emerges is of an out-of- control, entitled husband, and a wife who was actively involved in covering up his  behavior, many times by allegedly targeting the female victims themselves.

Rape Accuser Juanita Broaddrick to ‘Evil’ Hillary: ‘Shame on you!’

First, there is Juanita Broaddrick, the woman who famously accused Bill Clinton of rape  and spoke out against Hillary’s candidacy on my show last month.
The notoriously media-shy Broaddrick said that Hillary tried to silence her. She  rehashed a meeting with Hillary in 1978, in which, says Broaddrick, the future First  Lady strongly implied that the alleged rape victim should not report her traumatic  experience.

“I think she has always known everything about him. I think they have this evil compact  between the two of them that they each know what the other does and overlook it. And go  right on. And cover one for the other,” she said.

Broaddrick said she “almost died” three months ago when she first heard about Clinton’s  campaign ad on supporting female victims of sexual assault.

Broaddrick responded: “Aaron, the only thing that I would like to say is I hope that  someday these two people, these people that I feel like are so evil, will be brought to  justice. … You know, if I can help in that, I will. But these are not good people for  America,” she said of Bill and Hillary.

Broaddrick was a nursing home administrator volunteering for then-Arkansas Attorney  General Bill Clinton’s 1978 gubernatorial bid when – she claims – Bill weaseled his way  into her hotel room. When she resisted his advances, she says Clinton suddenly kissed  her and the alleged rape took place.

She described the scene to NBC’s Nightline in 1999:
Then he tries to kiss me again. And the second time he tries to kiss me he starts  biting my lip. … He starts to, um, bite on my top lip and I tried to pull away from  him. And then he forces me down on the bed. And I just was very frightened, and I tried  to get away from him and I told him “No,” that I didn’t want this to happen, but he  wouldn’t listen to me. … It was a real panicky, panicky situation. I was even to the  point where I was getting very noisy, you know, yelling to “Please stop.” And that’s  when he pressed down on my right shoulder and he would bite my lip. … When everything  was over with, he got up and straightened himself, and I was crying at the moment, and  he walks to the door and calmly puts on his sunglasses. And before he goes out the door  he says, “You better get some ice on that.” And he turned and went out the door.

Broaddrick explained that for a long period after the alleged rape she was in a state  of shock and denial about what she says transpired.  After the trauma, she recalled  attending a private Clinton fundraiser at the home of a supporter, where she says she  was directly warned by Hillary.

Broaddrick told me that a friend of hers who had driven the Clintons to the fundraiser  from the local airport informed her that “the whole conversation was about you coming  from the airport. Mostly from Mrs. Clinton.”

She recalled: “And so then about that time, I see them coming through the kitchen area.  And some people there are pointing to me. He goes one direction and she comes directly  to me. Then panic sort of started to set in with me. And I thought, ‘Oh my God, what do  I do now?’”

Broaddrick said Hillary approached her “and said ‘It’s so nice to meet you’ and all of  the niceties she was trying to say at the time.”

“And said, ‘I just want you to know how much Bill and I appreciate the things you do  for him.’ And I just stood there, Aaron. I was sort of you might say shell-shocked.”

“And she said, ‘Do you understand? Everything you do.’’’

“She tried to take a hold of my hand and I left. I told the girls I can’t take this.  I’m leaving. So I immediately left.”

Broaddrick recalled that “what really went through my mind at that time is ‘She knows.  She knew. She’s covering it up and she expects me to do the very same thing.’”

Kathleen Willey: Hillary ‘wrote the book on terrorizing women’

Kathleen Willey was a Democratic activist who, along with her husband Ed, founded  Virginians for Clinton, which supported Bill Clinton’s successful 1992 White House bid.

Willey became a White House volunteer during Clinton’s first term. She says she was  facing a tough financial situation, so she personally approached Bill about the  possibility of a paid position. Instead of offering to help her, Willey says she became  the victim of “nothing short of serious sexual harassment.”

Since Hillary’s campaign announcement in April, Willey has spoken out against the  Democratic front-runner during numerous exclusive interviews on my radio program.

“This woman wrote the book on terrorizing women, on terrorism,” Willey exclaimed in one  of those interviews.

Continued Willey:
Her tactics and the things that she set in motion against all the women like me, the  ones you have heard of and the ones you haven’t heard of, and the ones who are so  scared that they fled the country, are terrorist tactics like I’ve never seen before.

I went through them. I lived through them. And I know exactly what I am talking about.  She is the war on women. I don’t care what anybody says.

Willey refuses to watch as Hillary’s campaign accuses Republican candidates like Trump  of waging a so-called war on women.  In August, Willey announced the launch of a new  anti-Hillary website called A Scandal a Day.  A section of the site asks women who may  have been sexually assaulted by Bill Clinton to come forward.

Willey also wrote the forward to a recently released book by bestselling author Roger  Stone titled, The Clintons’ War on Women.

In an October interview, she sent a message directly to Hillary via my talk show:
“I am going to be shadowing you every single place you go to remind people, especially  young people, young women, college-aged students who don’t remember any of this. I want  them to know all about this. Because once they do they are not going to be real proud  of supporting her as the first woman president.”

“I am going to haunt her everywhere she goes,” Willey added of Clinton. “So she’s not  going to get rid of me ever until she disappears.”

“And I have plans already for New Hampshire,” Willey added, referring to the upcoming  Democratic party presidential primaries there.

Gennifer Flowers: “A joke that she would run on women’s issues”

Gennifer Flowers, who says she was Bill Clinton’s consensual mistress for more than 12  years, told me she fears a Hillary Clinton presidency.  In her only interview since  Clinton announced her candidacy, Flowers in October accused Hillary of being “an  enabler that has encouraged him (Bill) to go out and do whatever he does with women.”   Clinton admitted in a deposition to one sexual encounter with Flowers.

“She always got things on the back of her husband. … I think it’s a joke that she  would run on women’s issues.”

I asked Flowers point blank what she thought of Hillary’s attempt to make women’s  issues a major part of her campaign. Flowers responded by saying, “You know, people  criticize me for talking about her because I had an affair with her husband.”

“And I don’t blame them for that,” she said. “I understand that. I understand that they  can be mad at me. I get it. I accept my responsibility. … But she’s never accepted her  responsibility at being an enabler. She’s been an enabler that has encouraged him to go  out and do whatever he does with women.”

“Woman’s rights. Ha!” Flowers added. “I personally have worked my tail off to get where  I am in the entertainment business, which has not been easy since the Clinton scandal,  by the way. … Hillary never put up a shingle and worked for her clients and built her  clientele. She always got things on the back of her husband. … I think it’s a joke that  she would run on women’s issues.”

Russian Media Explodes With Vulgar and Racist Anti-Obama Rhetoric

[Blogger's note: I am beginning to like the Russians more every day... I figure the Internet will probably be taking this down, so here this shall remain forever!]

'Obama Schmoe,' monkey comparisons and 'chimney sweep' used to disparage American president

By Mikhail Klikushin • 12/15/15 1:46pm

Russian television has its own Bill O’Reilly. His name is Dmitry Kiselyov, and he is the host of his own weekly program News of the Week. This week’s heroes are Fox’s Ralph Peters and actress Stacey Dash, for the simple reason they “cursed” Mr. Obama last week. That’s good enough for Mr. Kiselyov.

“I am not going to clog your brains with the usual banalities by Obama,” was all Mr. Kiselyov said to his viewers last Sunday, after the U.S. President’s speech from the Oval office. Rather than reporting on the substance of the U.S. President’s policies, Russian media prefers stories on Mr. Obama making faces like ‘Grumpy Cat,’ or on his wife’s adoration of rap music or other easy-to-digest memes:

Barack Obama loves to act like a clown.

“U.S. President Barack Obama started to laugh when asked by The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart who the U.S. is bombing in the Middle East. It’s not his first appearance on the comedy show,” reported major Russian news agency RIA Novosti,

Barack Obama is lazy.

“During his presidency, Obama spent more than 1,100 hours on the golf course—or one-and-a-half months without breaks for sleep or food. He played golf 247 times during his presidency, breaking the record of Dwight Eisenhower who did it 210 times,” a major Russian tabloid reported.

Barack Obama is an idiot.

“Obama linked the spread of terrorism to climate change. At the same time, the American president expressed confidence that terrorism will be defeated.” Not having given any specifics on how to deal with the climate change, Mr. Obama cannot be trusted in the war against terrorism, concludes RIA Novosti.

Barack Obama is a liar.

“Together with [German Chancellor] Merkel and [Turkish President] Erdogan, Germans called Obama the liar of the year—39 percent called Merkel the biggest liar, 21 percent called Obama,” announced another Russian tabloid.

In other words, Russian media wants viewers to believe Mr. Obama is the anti-Putin. Mr. Putin is strong. Mr. Obama is weak. Mr. Putin is a doer. Mr. Obama is a talker. Mr. Putin fixes things. Mr. Obama ruins. Mr. Putin is a leader. Mr. Obama isn’t.

Mr. Putin is a macho alpha-male. Mr. Obama is a… what?

Mainstream media dodges this answer, leaving the task to pro-Kremlin propaganda that quickly and willingly provides it through videos like that of popular nationalist comedian Mikhail Zadornov, author of the widely known slogan, “Americans? But they are STOOOOOOOOOOPID!”

Instead, the answer is in the short and offensive motto: “Obama [is a] schmoe.”
In Russian, “schmoe” resembles the Yiddish “schmuck,” but with much stronger negative connotations.

“Obama schmoe” has recently become an all-pervading part of Russian pop-culture. There are “Obama schmoe” bumper stickers (in addition to others, like “Obama is bad” and “Obama is the devil”), and there are tee-shirts with pictures of Mr. Putin whispering into the ear of the embarrassed American President, “Obama, you are a schmoe.”

Christmas Trees - And Merry Christmas to all, including you atheists out there!

Apparently the White House referred to Christmas Trees as Holiday Trees which prompted CBS presenter, Steven Levy, to write the these words. It applies to other countries as it does to America.

(In 2014 this article was mistakenly attributed to  Steven Levy, recited on CBS Sunday Morning Commentary. - While that is untrue, snopes.com has validated that the components of this message are accurate...

My confession:

I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period. I have no idea where the concept came from that America is an explicitly atheist country. I can't find it in the Constitution and I don't like it being shoved down my throat...

Or maybe I can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we should worship celebrities and we aren't allowed to worship God as we understand Him? I guess that's a sign that I'm getting old  but there are a lot of us who are wondering where these celebrities came from and where the America we knew went to.

In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This is not intended to be a joke; it's not funny, it's intended to get you thinking. In light of recent events... terrorists attack, school shootings, etc.. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found a few years ago) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK. Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school... The Bible says thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.

Then Dr. Steven Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave, because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock's son committed suicide). We said an expert should know what he's talking about.. And we said okay.

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.'

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says. Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Are you laughing yet?

Funny how when you forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it.

Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.

Pass it on if you think it has merit. If not, just discard it... no one will know you did. But, if you discard this thought process, don't sit back and complain about what bad shape the world is in.

Ben Carson is finished?

Monday, Nov 23, 2015 05:13 PM EST

[Bloggers note: Sadly, Ben Carson is a bible thumping Adventist. While I consider myself a very religious, Christian, right-wing conservative, it is a mistake for a political candidate to boast their religious beliefs during an election. This was the cause of Mitt Romney's last minute failure in 2012.]

Ben Carson is finished: The one-time Republican frontrunner continues his free fall
Carson's foreign policy ignorance is death knell for campaign after latest terror attacks.

Ben Carson has had a great run. He has no experience, no knowledge of the issues, and no real inclination to learn the things he has to learn in order to run for office. In every debate so far, he’s embarrassed himself with meandering non-answers. Oftentimes it’s not clear Carson even understands the question he’s been asked, and that’s pretty much the case across topics.

Remarkably, none of that has mattered in this race. Carson has slithered his way to the top of the polls in recent months, and he appeared well-positioned at least until the Iowa caucuses. Carson’s only real competition thus far has been Trump. And the leading “establishment” candidate at this point is Rubio, who remains roughly seven points behind Carson in most of the polls.

But things have changed.

It appears the recent terrorist attacks in Paris have awakened GOP primary voters from their slumber – well, sort of. And that’s bad news for Carson, who just had one of his worst weeks as a presidential candidate. In case you missed it, Carson stumbled last week when he mistakenly claimed that China was militarily involved in Syria. He then failed to name the nations he would ask to join a coalition against ISIS.

Things spiraled further out of control for the retired neurosurgeon when his own foreign policy adviser questioned his understanding of and interest in the issues. “Nobody has been able to sit down with him and have him get one iota of information about the Middle East,” said Duane R. Clarridge, a chief adviser to Carson’s campaign. Clarridge added that “Mr. Carson needed weekly conference calls briefing him on foreign policy so ‘we can make him smart.’’’

Even in a party that devalues experience and champions know-nothingism, this is a potential death knell for Carson’s campaign.

FBI Hillary Clinton Probe Expands!

NewsMax
By Cathy Burke   |   Thursday, 12 Nov 2015 11:05 AM

The FBI has expanded its probe into the private email arrangement of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to determine if there's any evidence she violated a federal false statements law, Fox News reports.

According to Fox News, unnamed intelligence sources say the agency is now focusing on U.S. Code 18, Section 1001 — a provision that pertains to "materially false" statements given either in writing, orally or through a third party — a felony punishable by five years in prison.
The wider scope represents an expansion of the agency's investigation that's also looking at potential violations of an Espionage Act provision relating to "gross negligence" in the handling of national defense information, Fox News reports.

"The agents involved are under a lot of pressure and are busting a —," a source tells Fox News.

The expanded probe follows a report earlier in the week that the FBI is stepping up the Clinton email investigation.

Former FBI agent Timothy Gill explains the section of the federal statute on false statements that may apply to Clinton "is a broad, brush statute that punishes individuals who are not direct and fulsome in their answers."

Hillary Clinton pledges to make gun control a 'voting issue' for Democrats

[Bloggers note: Here comes the big gun grab! Time to kick this worn out, criminal bitch to the curb!]

The Guardian
November 4, 2015

Hillary Clinton is attempting to make gun control and reducing gun violence a key part of her presidential campaign, as a once politically sensitive campaign issue moves front and center in the wake of the Charleston church massacre in June.

“Thirty-three thousand people a year die from something,” the Democratic frontrunner said at a campaign event at Grinnell College in Iowa on Tuesday night. “Shame on us if we don’t respond.”

The frequency and force with which she and the other Democratic presidential candidates discuss gun control marks an evolution on an issue that was once a near-taboo for Democrats on the campaign trail. Since a 21-year-old white supremacist killed nine black churchgoers in Charleston, South Carolina, in June, Clinton has wrapped toughening the nation’s gun laws into her standard stump speech.

It also marks a rare policy on which Clinton is to the left of Vermont senator Bernie Sanders, who is closely chasing the frontrunner in Iowa and New Hampshire.

During an earlier campaign event in Coralville, Iowa, Clinton vowed to challenge the powerful US gun lobby, the National Rifle Association (NRA), and pledged to make gun control a “voting issue” that motivates Democrats in the same way gun rights motivates Republicans to vote.

“We’re going to make this a voting issue – just like the other side does,” Clinton said on Tuesday afternoon.

Joe Biden: I Would Have Run for President, but I Couldn't Win

NBC News
Oct 26 2015, 9:57 am ET
by M. Alex Johnson

Vice President Joe Biden said Sunday he would have run for president, but he decided that he "couldn't win" and that he would never again seek political office.

In a joint interview with his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, on CBS' "60 Minutes," the vice president said helping his family grieve over the death in May of his son, former Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, took precedence over a presidential campaign.

"I've said from the beginning that I don't know whether our ability to deal with the loss of Beau would reach a point where we could do that before time ran out," he said. "And there was nothing we could control."

Related: Joe Biden Announces He Will Not Seek Democratic Nomination for President

Asked by CBS News correspondent Norah O'Donnell whether he chose not to run because "you think you couldn't win" or "didn't want to run," Biden answered:

"Couldn't win. I'll be very blunt. If I thought we could've put together the campaign that our supporters deserve and our contributors deserved, I would have gone ahead and done it."

[Bloggers note: Of course Biden couldn't win - He is a clone of Hillary Clinton without the brashness, visibility or speaking ability. And, the Democratic Party machine would have had him assassinated for interering with their plan to elect Hillary - He would have diluted the vote!]

The Final Leaked TPP Text Is All That We Feared

Electronic Frontier Foundation
October 9, 2015 | By Jeremy Malcolm

The Final Leaked TPP Text Is All That We Feared

Today's release by Wikileaks of what is believed to be the current and essentially final version of the intellectual property (IP) chapter (https://www.eff.org/issues/intellectual-property/the-term) of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) (https://www.eff.org/issues/tpp) confirms our worst fears about the agreement, and dashes the few hopes that we held out that its most onerous provisions wouldn't survive to the end of the negotiations.

Since we now have the agreed text, we'll be including some paragraph references that you can cross-reference for yourself—but be aware that some of them contain placeholders like “x” that may change in the cleaned-up text. Also, our analysis here is limited to the copyright and Internet-related provisions of the chapter, but analyses of the impacts of other parts of the chapter have been published by Wikileaks (https://wikileaks.org/tpp-ip3/) and others.

Quite honestly there are no parts of this agreement that are positively good for users. Of course, that doesn't mean that it's not improved over the earlier, horrendous demands of the U.S. negotiators. Some of the areas in which countries rightly pushed back against the U.S., and which are reflected in the final text are:

1. The exhaustion of rights provision (QQ.A.11) that upholds the first sale doctrine of U.S. law, preventing copyright owners from extending their control over the resale of copyright works once they have first been placed in the market. In particular, this makes parallel importation of cheaper versions of copyright works lawful—and complementing this is an explicit authorization of devices that bypass region-coding on physical copies of such works (QQ.G.10, though this does not extend to bypassing geoblocking of streaming services).
A thoroughly-misguided provision that would have extended copyright protection to temporary or "buffer" copies in a computer system was one of the earliest rightsholder demands dropped by the USTR, and rightfully so, given the damage this would have wreaked to tech companies and users alike.

2. But we have struggled to come up with more than two positive points about the TPP, and even then the absence of these tragic mistakes is a pretty poor example of a positive point. If you look for provisions in the TPP that actually afford new benefits to users, rather than to large, rights-holding corporations, you will look in vain. The TPP is the archetype of an agreement that exists only for the benefit of the entitled, politically powerfully lobbyists who have pushed it through to completion over the last eight years.

There is nothing in here for users and innovators to support, and much for us to fear—the ratcheting up of the copyright term across the Pacific rim, the punitive sanctions for DRM circumvention, and the full frontal attack on hackers and journalists in the trade secrets provision, just to mention three. This latest leak has confirmed our greatest fears—and strengthened our resolve to kill this agreement for good once it reaches Congress.

Jeb Bush Should Face Facts: It’s Time to Drop Out

Jeb, this isn’t working. You’re a bad candidate, and all you’re going to do now is damage the guy who can beat Trump. Is that what you want?

Jeb, this just isn’t going to work. After all that money spent, you’re still sagging nationally and in fourth place in New Hampshire, a state you need to win.

You’ve had nearly a year to make your case. It isn’t working. You should pack it in.

The conventional wisdom a few months ago was that your brother’s catastrophic presidency would be your bid’s biggest hurdle. Now, in a fit of desperation, it looks like you’re about to draft him to stump for you. Putting aside that George W. is still despised by a not-insignificant swath of the Republican electorate, how is that going to play in the general should you somehow win the nomination? You’re making the Democrats’ job easy, Jeb. They’ll be more than happy to attach you to his legacy, and you’re doing that for them.
....
(Jeb,) your problems go well beyond polling, though. For starters, you don’t seem to want the job. You’re not as politically adroit as others in the race—a charge that could never be made against McCain. And by using all that cash you’ve raised to tear down the other plausible nominees while simultaneously reminding everyone of your brother’s failed presidency, your continued presence on the campaign trail will likely wind up helping the other side.

So just go home, Jeb. There’s no dishonor in leaving politics behind.

Clinton unveils plan for tighter gun control including executive action, expanded background checks

(Bloggers note: I am beginning to wonder if the liberal news media has been searching for gun violence incidents to report, or perhaps the gun control freaks are actually setting up these acts of violence. Please, just put the criminals in jail and leave our guns alone! I have NEVER seen a gun kill anyone - unless it is used by a criminal! Guns SAVE many more lives then they kill.)

Published October 05, 2015FoxNews.com

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton on Monday proposed tighter gun-control measures, including expanded background checks, and suggested that if elected she would use executive powers to achieve her goals.

“I want to push hard to get more sensible restraints,” Clinton said on NBC’s “Today” show. “I want to work with Congress, but I will look at ways as president.”

She called for expanded background checks for firearms sales online and at gun shows. Clinton also called for closing loopholes in federal laws that allow for gun-sale transactions to be completed if the buyer’s background check is not finished within three days.

Clinton will unveil more details about her plans Monday during a campaign swing through New Hampshire.

Her campaign says her proposals also include a repeal of legislation shielding gun manufacturers, distributors and dealers from most liability suits, even in the case of mass shootings like the one that killed nine students and teachers at an Oregon community college on Thursday.

The fatal shootings have sparked renewed interest in Washington, the 2016 presidential campaign trails and elsewhere across the country about curbing gun violence.

Clinton’s proposals also mark an attempt to make up ground among the liberal wing of the Democratic Party against her closest rival, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. While Sanders has wooed the Democratic base with his liberal positions on issues like income inequality and college debt, he's struggled to defend a more mixed record on gun legislation -- a reflection, he says, of his rural, gun-friendly home-state.

Democrats Attack Jeb Bush's "Multiculturalism" Comment

By Candace Smith
ABC News
Sep 23, 2015, 4:55 PM ET

"We should not have a multicultural society," said Jeb Bush Tuesday in Iowa.

It was a curious statement from the Republican presidential candidate. Bush, whose wife is Mexican-born and has three Mexican-American children, has long embraced “the immigrant experience." He's been a consistent advocate of comprehensive immigration reform that gives immigrants a path to legal status.

"When you create pockets of isolation — and in some places the process of assimilation has been retarded because they've slowed down — it's wrong," he added. "It limits people's aspirations."

Bush made the comments Tuesday at a small diner in Cedar Falls, Iowa. A young woman had approached him and asked how the federal government could better incorporate refugees.

Bush later told The Associated Press, "You have to have people assimilate into society. But that doesn't mean we have a monolithic, homogeneous population. To the contrary," he said. "The power of America is a set of shared values with a very diverse population embracing it."

And while the campaign doesn’t view these comments as a misstep or even a gaffe, opponents on the Democratic side do.

Progressive group American Bridge released a video accusing Bush of pandering to the far right.

Federal agencies have been directed to hire psychologists to experiment and find ways to better manipulate the American people to the federal government’s will.

“A growing body of evidence demonstrates that behavioral science insights – research findings from fields such as behavioral economics and psychology about how people make decisions and act on them – can be used to design government policies to better serve the American people,” Obama wrote in an executive order released Tuesday on WhiteHouse.gov. The origin of the order can be traced back to a 2013 policy proposal entertained by the White House called “Strengthening Federal Capacity for Behavioral Insights.”

The president’s new order said streamlined applications for federal financial aid and automatic retirement payments are two examples where behavioral-science lessons applied to government programs have been effective.
...
SBST will now move forward to identify programs that will “most effectively promote public welfare, as appropriate, giving particular consideration to the selection and setting of default options.” The team’s work is done under the purview of the National Science and Technology Council.
...
“The two behavioral scientists argued in their 2008 book ‘Nudge’ that government policies can be designed in a way that ‘nudges’ citizens toward certain behaviors and choices,” the Daily Beast reported.

Obama’s executive order requires SBST to issue guidance to federal agencies on how to implement his policy directive within the next 45 days.

SBST will also consider different ways of labeling “benefits, taxes, subsidies, and other incentives” to “more effectively and efficiently promote” the president’s policy goal.

Glenn Beck: 'Prepare for all-out war'

Glenn Beck: 'Prepare for all-out war'
Media star issues dire warning to Americans
Published: 05/19/2015 at 2:22 PM
Cheryl Chumley

Former Fox News host-turned-media-giant Glenn Beck issued a dire warning to America, telling citizens to be on guard and prepare – all-out war is coming.

“I would suggest that you prepare for all-out war,” he said in a recent broadcast, Raw Story reported. “War unlike we’ve ever seen in our lifetime because that’s what I believe is coming, unfortunately. I’m hoping that there’s a way to put this genie back into the bottle, but I don’t see it.”

Glenn Beck says: Before you read anything else, read this –”The book Reagan wanted taught in high schools”

Beck said he feared “losing our country” and said another Sept. 11-type attack would prove a devastation to the nation, Mediaite reported.

“We talk about World War II, where they did shock and awe,” Beck’s co-host Stu Burguiere said. “Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of civilians died. It was not a pretty picture. And obviously war is hell, but is there any way that America — with the backbone we have today, with the 99 percenters and Occupy Wall Street as part of this country, with all that — they are going to accept a war effort like that?”

Beck said the next truly devastating terrorist attack will be perpetrated by "home-grown” terrorists, and “they will be in multiple cities, so you won’t know” what to expect next.

He said, in context of discussing the ISIS vow to harm the president and raise the terrorist flag over the White House: “Did you see what ISIS came out and said? That ISIS, their number one goal now is to hit America and kill the president. I cannot imagine. That would change perspectives entirely.

“We got the Patriot Act the last time. Can you even imagine what the Department of Homeland Security would do if they, God forbid, hurt the president?”

Beck also said a different president – a Republican chief – would prove the better defender of America in a coming all-out war.

Charles Koch blasts Barack Obama

CEO says attacks on him and his brother are “beneath the dignity … of the president.”

By Mike Allen

8/25/15 8:36 PM EDT

Charles Koch hit back at criticism of “the Koch brothers” during President Barack Obama’s energy speech in Las Vegas earlier this week, saying he was “flabbergasted” by the attack and charging that Obama made the dig as a favor to Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), who appeared with him.

“It’s beneath the president, the dignity of the president, to be doing that,” Koch said during a phone interview Tuesday.

Koch’s blistering comments came as he and his brother David, whose conservative political network plans to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on the 2016 election, have spoken out more frequently in an attempt to blunt Democratic attacks on their political influence and insinuations about their motives.

Reid has been particularly relentless, calling the Kochs “shadowy billionaires” who seek to “rig the system to benefit themselves and the wealthiest 1 percent,” among many other charges. At the National Clean Energy Summit at the Mandalay Bay Resort Convention Center on Monday, Obama joined the fray.

The president drew applause when he said: “[Y]ou start seeing massive lobbying efforts backed by fossil fuel interests, or conservative think tanks, or the Koch brothers pushing for new laws to roll back renewable energy standards or prevent new clean energy businesses from succeeding — that’s a problem.”

But Koch, who is chairman and CEO of Koch Industries, said his opposition to subsidies for clean energy companies — or any other private businesses — doesn’t mean he’s against their success. Rolling back corporate welfare is one of the top issues Koch is pursuing with his richly funded political network.

Koch said his company also opposes subsidies for fossil fuels. And he portrayed Obama’s remarks as an unwarranted personal attack.

First Read: A One-Two Punch of Tough News for Hillary Clinton

by Chuck Todd and Carrie Dann
NBC News

Meet the Press
Aug 12 2015, 1:52 pm ET

'First Read is a morning briefing from Meet the Press and the NBC Political Unit on the day's most important political stories and why they matter.

A Double-Whammy for Clinton, Part One:

After months of resistance, Hillary Clinton's campaign says that the former secretary of state will turn over to the Justice Department her private server and a thumb drive containing copies of her emails. (And that news came on the same day that we learned that two of the emails that the inspector general for the intelligence community reviewed contained "top secret" information, the highest classification of government intelligence.) This is exactly the scenario that many people assumed would play out beginning six months ago - that Clinton would resist and resist and resist and then relieve the pressure when it became absolutely necessary. The big problem for her camp is that now, instead of looking proactive, Clinton looks like she's been dragged into turning these materials over.

And Part Two: A new poll shows Bernie Sanders ahead of Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire

And here's Part Two of the double-whammy for Clinton the day after this new flurry of email stories: A fresh poll from Franklin Pierce University and the Boston Herald shows Sanders leading Clinton 44 percent to 37 percent among likely Democratic primary voters.

Calls mount for Hillary Clinton criminal investigation amid email data breach fears

Critics say former secretary of state’s actions compare unfavorably to David Patreaus’

By Guy Taylor - The Washington Times - Sunday, August 2, 2015

With U.S. intelligence officials scrambling to contain damage from potentially hundreds of spy agency secrets in Hillary Rodham Clinton’s private emails, questions are mounting over why the Justice Department has not yet opened a criminal investigation against the Democratic presidential front-runner for mishandling a mountain of classified information.

While some secrecy experts believe Mrs. Clinton will be able to build a strong case that material on her server was not classified at the time it was moving through her emails, others assert that what the former secretary of state did was far more egregious than the mishandling of information that saw former CIA Director David H. Petraeus sentenced to two years probation and a $100,000 fine.

“I don’t see how the Justice Department would be able to avoid at least investigating this,” said Kevin Carroll, a former CIA officer and secrecy lawyer in Washington. “What Petraeus did was really small in comparison, because there was no exposure of any information to any foreign intelligence services.”

Parsing Clinton: What Is She Hiding?

Her slippery defense of the email scandal requires a Clintonologist. I volunteer.

BY RON FOURNIER

July 27, 2015 Let's return to the original sin: Hillary Rodham Clinton violated White House policy, federal rules, and every principle of political common sense by stashing her government email on a home-brewed server. Her covert and unprecedented actions—she deleted more than half the email and scrubbed the server—thwarted the rights of Congress and the public to review many of those records.

Now for the repeated sin: Clinton is not being honest with people about what she did and why she did it. Her most recent comments were legalistic at best, deceptive at worst, and require an experienced Clintonologist to parse them.
...
Clinton has put herself in a box. She can either hand the server over to an independent third party, who would protect her private email and our government's working email. Or she can stonewall.

The latter course gives every voter the right—and every self-respecting journalist the responsibility—to ask, "What were you hiding, Hillary?"

What are you hiding?

John Boehner: Hillary Clinton is lying about State Department emails

By S.A. Miller - The Washington Times - Sunday, July 12, 2015

House Speaker John Boehner on Sunday accused former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton of lying about the email scandal that is hounding her campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination.

“She is not telling the truth. She had an obligation to turn these e-mails over,” Mr. Boehner, Ohio Republican, said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

“Our committees asked for her emails going back to 2012, and we’ve been rolled and rolled and held off and held off now for over three years,” he said. “The emails need to come forward.”

He said that he wouldn’t rule out issuing another subpoena for Mrs. Clinton to turn over the private email server in her home in Chappaqua, New York, that hosted her email account as secretary of state.

Kenyan Leader Warns: If Obama Preaches ‘Gay Agenda, We Will Tell Him to Shut Up and Go Home’

Kenyan leaders are warning President Obama not to bring his “gay agenda” with him when he visits his father’s homeland at the end of this month to open the sixth Global Entrepreneurship Summit.

Following the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling that legalized same-sex marriage nationwide, the White House image was cloaked in the militant LGBT rainbow, as was the Facebook profile picture of the U.S. Department of Education.

In Nairobi on Monday, members of the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya called upon Obama to refrain from discussing the gay agenda, reports CNSNews.com.

“It is important for us as Kenyans to know that the U.S. is not God,” evangelical Bishop Mark Kariuki was quoted by local media as saying.

Kariuki added that Obama should not use the visit to “talk about the gay issue.”

Irungu Kangata, a lawmaker in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s The National Alliance (TNA) party, said, “We are telling Mr. Obama when he comes to Kenya this month and he tries to bring the abortion agenda, the gay agenda, we shall tell him to shut up and go home.”

Kangata, according to The Standard of Nairobi, said Kenyans would protest against Obama over the gay agenda issue while he visited their country.

“Anybody who tries to come and preach to this country that they should allow homosexuality, I think he’s totally lost,” said TNA lawmaker Jamleck Kamau, according to The Daily Nation. “And I would also like to add, our son from the U.S., Barack Obama, when he comes here, to simply avoid that topic completely because Kenyans will not be happy with him if he comes to bring the issue of homosexuality in this country.”

“Liberal thoughts are being entertained in some countries under the guise of human rights,” said Justin Muturi, the speaker of the National Assembly, to an Anglican Church congregation. “We must be vigilant and guard against it. We must lead an upright society and not allow obnoxious behavior as we have a responsibility to protect our children.”

Rose Mitaru, one of 47 female lawmakers in Kenya, said that allowing same-sex marriage in her country would open “floodgates of evil synonymous with the biblical Sodom and Gomorrah.”

Republican field divided on Donald Trump's comments about Mexican immigrants

(Bloggers note: This is why the Republicans will lose in 2016 to whatever Democrat wins the primary - regardless of how bad that candidate is. You don't talk religion and you definitely don't disparage any class of voter who dominates an election. Only the Republicans seem stupid enough to do this!)

By DAVID LAUTER
LA Times, Reporting from Washington, D.C.
July 5, 2015

More than two weeks after Donald Trump’s disparaging comments about Mexican immigrants, he continues to dominate the Republican presidential campaign debate and to divide his rivals for the nomination.

Initially, most Republican candidates tried to ignore him. But as major corporations cut ties with Trump over his declaration that some Mexican immigrants are rapists and drug-runners, and as the issue continues to fill the airwaves of Spanish-language media, more candidates have spoken out, separating into two camps.
....
Jeb Bush [married to a Mexican], who initially commented about Trump only in an interview in Spanish, stepped up his criticism over the weekend, calling Trump's remarks “extraordinarily ugly” and “wrong.”

“He's doing this to inflame and to incite and to draw attention to his campaign,” Bush said. “It doesn't represent the Republican Party or its values.”
....
Trump has expressed surprise about the intensity of the criticism he has faced. “It's bad for my brand,” Trump said in an interview on Fox News in which he lashed back at several of his Republican critics.

“The crime is raging. It's violent, and people don't want to even talk about it. If you talk about it, you are a racist. I don't understand it,” he said.

Trump said Bush was “out of touch with the American people.”

NBC Cuts Business Ties with Donald Trump Over Immigration Remarks

(Bloggers note: This is how our liberal media controls the news. You may agree, or disagree on what Trump said, but in America, he has the right to say it, and the media should not shun nor supress what anyone has to say, but should remain impartial.)

NBC is ending its business relationship with Donald Trump over his recent comments about Mexican immigrants.

"At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values," NBC said in a statement. "Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump."

The network will no longer air the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants that were part of a joint venture with Trump, the statement added. Its relationship with "Celebrity Apprentice" will continue, as Trump ceased his involvement with the reality show during his presidential bid.

The real estate mogul and 2016 presidential candidate has faced criticism for comments he made during his announcement speech earlier this month.

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best," he said. "They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

TPP Passes: Obama Now A Dictator

Foundation of global government cemented with passage of secretive bill

One of the most devastating blows to US sovereignty since the country’s founding was dealt today as the Senate handed President Obama his Trans-Pacific Partnership victory.
Despite massive opposition from the American people, Tea Party Republicans and a majority of Democrats, Obama was granted fast-track authority by a 60-38 vote.
Sections of the TPP published by Wikileaks have revealed the treaty’s vast influence over multiple areas including individual rights, internet freedom and even the rule of law itself. Unelected corporate boards and the President can now wield unprecedented control over almost every aspect of human activity.

“If you read, write, publish, think, listen, dance, sing or invent; if you farm or consume food; if you’re ill now or might one day be ill, the TPP has you in its crosshairs,” Wikileaks’ Julian Assange wrote.

Secret TPP chapters regarding immigration also grant President Obama an even greater ability to erode the country’s Southern border.
“Obama will be able to finalize all three of the Obamatrade deals, without any Congressional input…” notes Breitbart.

The TPP, which covers 12 countries and more than 40% of the world’s economy, will place North America under the same global government structure as the European Union, where laws are increasingly crafted outside of public influence.

Obama responds to the church shooting in Charleston, South Carolina

June 18, 2015 - Barack Obama - pasted from CNN transcript:

"I've had to make statements like this too many times. Communities like this have had to endure tragedies like this too many times. We don't have all the facts, but we do know that, once again, innocent people were killed in part because someone who wanted to inflict harm had no trouble getting their hands on a gun. Now is the time for mourning and for healing. But let's be clear: At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries. It doesn't happen in other places with this kind of frequency. And it is in our power to do something about it."

Bloggers note: Here we
Here we go again folks! Obama and Hillary Clinton, two liberal, gun stealing, socialist pigs at it again. Folks - GUNS don't kill people, people kill people. No matter what you ban, criminals will always have access to some form of weapon with which to kill. We should be hanging the bastards who commit these heinous crimes in the public square and should broadcast the hanging on national television to dissuade others from committing such acts. We should not be taking away the good citizen's constitutional right to own guns to protect themselves and their country!

Notice too that CNN is heavilly promoting gun control with dozens of similar stories. I move to shut down ALL the liberal, socialist media - STARTING with CNN!

NRA: Obama To Gag Pro-gun Free Speech

"Gunsmiths, manufacturers, reloaders, and do-it-yourselfers could all find themselves muzzled..."

by Paul Bedard | Washington Examiner | June 7, 2015

Commonly used and unregulated internet discussions and videos about guns and ammo could be closed down under rules proposed by the State Department, amounting to a “gag order on firearm-related speech,” the National Rifle Association is warning.

In updating regulations governing international arms sales, State is demanding that anyone who puts technical details about arms and ammo on the web first get the OK from the federal government — or face a fine of up to $1 million and 20 years in jail.

According to the NRA, that would include blogs and web forums discussing technical details of common guns and ammunition, the type of info gun owners and ammo reloaders trade all the time.

“Gunsmiths, manufacturers, reloaders, and do-it-yourselfers could all find themselves muzzled under the rule and unable to distribute or obtain the information they rely on to conduct these activities,” said the NRA in a blog posting.

“This latest regulatory assault, published in the June 3 issue of the Federal Register, is as much an affront to the First Amendment as it is to the Second,” warned the NRA’s lobbying shop. “Your action is urgently needed to ensure that online blogs, videos, and web forums devoted to the technical aspects of firearms and ammunition do not become subject to prior review by State Department bureaucrats before they can be published,” it added.

As Supreme Court Prepares For Major Obamacare Decision, Republicans Unveil Plans

Randy DeSoto June 8, 2015 at 12:32pm

"If you want to escape Obamacare, this sets you free.”

As the Supreme Court prepares to issue its decision on the future of a major component of Obamacare by the end of the month, leaders in the Republican Party have offered plans to replace perhaps the most controversial piece of legislation of the Obama presidency.

The president made several promises in the lead-up to the passage of the Affordable Care Act in 2010, which have proven not to be true, including: if you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan; the average household will see a decrease of $2500 per year in their health insurance; overall healthcare insurance premiums will go down; and the number of unnecessary emergency room visits will decrease, among other promises.

...

If the Court were to strike down the payment of subsidies for insurance purchased through the federal exchange, Senate Republicans have offered a plan that would give Americans the option to keep their current plan with federal subsidies until August of 2017.

The proposed legislation, S.1016, further bars the IRS from imposing penalties by eliminating the individual mandate to purchase government-approved health insurance. The bill, which was introduced by Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., has 31 Republican co-sponsors.

“This bill is a transitional response that rescues Americans from the coercive nature of Obamacare, which is an unnecessarily complicated scheme that should not be resuscitated,” said Sen. Johnson. “This bill lives up to its name by restoring freedom. If you want to keep your health care plan, you can keep it. If you want to escape Obamacare, this sets you free.”

Sanders slams Jeb Bush over Social Security remarks

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Wednesday slammed former Gov. Jeb Bush’s (R-Fla.) recent comments about raising the retirement age for Social Security.

Bush suggested the age to get Social Security should be raised from 65 to 68 to 70.

“At a time when more than half of the American people have less than $10,000 in savings, it would be a disaster to cut Social Security benefits by raising the retirement age,” the Democratic presidential candidate replied in a statement.

“It is unacceptable to ask construction workers, truck drivers, nurses and other working-class Americans to work until they are 68 to 70 years old before qualifying for full Social Security benefits,” added Sanders, who has pushed to expand Social Security benefits.

Bush called for a hike in the retirement age in an interview with CBS News’s “Face the Nation.”

“I think it needs to be phased in over an extended period of time,” Bush said. “We need to look over the horizon and begin to phase in, over an extended period of time, going from 65 to 68 or 70. ... And that, by itself, will help sustain the retirement system for anybody under the age of 40.”

Bush, who is exploring a presidential bid, also said he would be open to slashing benefits for wealthy people and their beneficiaries.

“I think it ought to be considered, for sure,” Bush said.

“I have a hard time understanding what world Gov. Bush and his billionaire backers live in,” Sanders responded on Wednesday.

Clinton Foundation hit with racketeering lawsuit

Clinton Foundation hit with racketeering lawsuit
By Sarah Westwood - The Washington Examiner | May 27, 2015 | 5:00 am

Bill and Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation have been hit with a racketeering lawsuit in Florida court.

The lawsuit, filed by Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch, includes a legal request to have the Florida judge seize the private server on which Hillary Clinton and her aides hosted their emails while she served as secretary of state.

Klayman has filed dozens of lawsuits against the Clintons and other prominent politicians.

The racketeering, influenced and corrupt organizations, or RICO, case alleges the former first couple and their family philanthropy traded political favors for donations or generous speaking fees for Bill Clinton while his wife was the nation's chief diplomat.

"Negotiations by email about influencing U.S. foreign policy or U.S. Government actions to benefit donors to ... The Clinton Foundation or sponsors of speaking engagements would not be captured on a U.S. Government email account because her emails would not be with a U.S. Government official," Klayman said in court documents obtained by the Washington Examiner.

Expose the TPP!

Although it is called a "free trade" agreement, the TPP is not really mainly about trade.

Of the TPP's 29 draft chapters, only 5 deal with traditional trade issues. Most would set rules on non-trade matters that affect our daily lives:

food safety, internet freedom, medicine costs, job off-shoring, financial regulation, and more.

Our domestic policies would be required to comply with the TPP rules.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) would off-shore more jobs, flood us with unsafe imported food, expand fracking, hike up medicine prices, roll back Wall Street reforms, threaten Internet freedom and much more. The key to stopping this terrible “free trade” deal is to stop Fast Track.
Join the movement.

Hillary Clinton's emails won't be released until January 2016

blogger-avatarby Nick Summers | @nisummers | May 19th 2015 at 12:46 pm

The emails that Hillary Clinton sent as Secretary of State from a private account will eventually be released to the public, but not as quickly as some had hoped. Government lawyers reportedly revealed in new court papers, filed in relation to a Vice News Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, that the correspondence won't be published until January 15th, 2016. That's a long wait, especially as Clinton has already launched her 2016 presidential campaign in the US. Her privately-controlled email address, first revealed by the New York Times, is an issue because she used it for all of her work-related correspondence. Under federal law, emails sent and received by officials are supposed to be archived so that oversight committees, historians and the press can examine them.

Update: Another update from Vice notes that a judge has ordered the State Department to release emails on a rolling basis.

Hawaii Dem takes on Obama

By Kristina Wong - 05/14/15 06:00 AM EDT "The Hill"

One of the toughest critics of President Obama’s strategy against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, a Democrat who represents his home state of Hawaii.

Gabbard has taken the administration to task for refusing to use the term “radical Islam” and called for the White House to be more aggressive.

In an interview with The Hill, Gabbard said she has spoken to the White House about her criticism, though she has yet to speak with Obama himself.

“The president hasn’t called me. I’ve had a number of ongoing conversations with different people in the administration about some of these issues, both one-on-one, as well as in smaller, classified group settings,” she said.

“I’ve never been asked directly to not do my job. So obviously, there are areas where we’re going to agree to disagree.”

Gabbard, 34, one of the youngest members of Congress, is a Hawaii Army National Guard captain with two deployments under her belt, including a year in Iraq, where she served in a field medical unit.

She later served in Kuwait as a platoon commander for a military police unit that accompanied a brigade running convoys. Those experiences have shaped her views on the fight against ISIS and given her credibility as a member of the House Armed Services Committee.

While her criticism of Obama would appear risky in Hawaii, where the president remains popular, Gabbard says she simply disagrees with elements of his foreign policy.

“The leadership in our country, unfortunately, is still not looking at this in a comprehensive way,” she said.

Gabbard argues the administration needs to take a closer look at the shared ideology between terrorist groups like ISIS, al Qaeda and Boko Haram, rather than viewing them and their offshoots as separate threats.

“Each of these different groups that are basically all being fueled by the same ideology, and none of them can be defeated with a military-only strategy,” she said.

The 10 biggest lies you’ve been told about the Trans-Pacific Partnership

You can call it "misleading" or "offering half-truths," but when push comes to a shove, these are lies!

Blogger comments (Andrew Shecktor 5/12/2015):
The TPP deal is incredibly dangerous. Like the Patriot act and the "Affordable" Health Care Act there are hidden atrocities in this bill, and our elected officials never read the legislation that they pass. One example is that TPP as it stands would eliminate all public domain copyright - worldwide! This would have far reaching affects, including the elimination of most public domain films, books, and works of art, as well as a lot of Internet content. Yes, that is buried about half way through. And don't forget it includes restrictions on various guns and ammunition and the import of the same. It also includes unilateral conditions to the detriment of the U.S. Again, our politicians will pass this without reading it. In the end - we will get screwed.

Today, the Senate makes a critical test vote on the Obama Administration’s trade agenda, kicking off a process that the White House hopes to end with the signing of an agreement between 12 nations called the Trans-Pacific Partnership. In preparation for this vote, President Obama has been deliberately antagonizing his critics, mostly liberal Democrats. Senator Elizabeth Warren is “a politician, like everybody else,” Obama said Friday to Yahoo News, who has “got a voice that she wants to get out there,” framing her concerns as insincere self-aggrandizement. Those concerns, Obama added, are “absolutely wrong.”

This is not the first time that Obama and his aides have depicted opposition on trade as deliberate misinformation designed to stir up a left-leaning political base, or generate campaign contributions; my favorite is the claim that Warren is merely trying to energize a non-existent Presidential campaign.

It’s beneath the dignity of the Presidency to so aggressively paint opponents as not just wrong on the facts, but hiding the truth on purpose. Warren has responded without using the same indecorous tactics. Unfortunately, I don’t have the same self-control. So by way of response, here are ten moments where the President or his subordinates have lied – call it “misled” or “offered half-truths” or whatever; but I’m in an ornery mood so let’s just say lied – about his trade agenda

Rush Limbaugh: Sharia Law Already Happening in U.S.

In light of the fallout from the recent shooting in Texas, conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh says Sharia law is already happening.

Limbaugh said on his radio show Thursday that on "one of the networks this morning somebody was defending Pam Geller and started saying, 'If we're not careful, Sharia law is gonna happen,'" and the co-host responded, saying that "'There isn't gonna be Sharia law in the United States of America. Just isn't gonna happen. Come on, get real, get real, it's silly.'"
But Limbaugh said that "Sharia law has already been implemented in this country."

"Are you aware that in New Jersey a judge found that an Islamic man could not be accused of the rape of his wife?" the conservative radio host asked his audience.

Special:
"A judge in New Jersey found that he could not be charged with it, much less found guilty, because there's no rape in his religion," he explained. "Well, hello. That's Sharia.

"Now, it's not Sharia that has become American law, but it's been implemented," he added. "It's been used."

This brings up a very interesting point. If one is to abide by the first amendment to the U.S. Constitution, then a person practicing the Islamic religion cannot be held accountable for rape, because in their religion rape is not recognized. Nor is a Christian to be denied an art show that violated Islamic law, or a cartoon depicting images contrary to Muslim law. And, anyone can deny services to another person if that persons beliefs violate their own religious beliefs. Now this becomes a double edged sword to all other religions, for if we do not permit those practicing Islam (one of the largest religious practices in the world) to practice their religion then we are also saying that one cannot practice Christianity, or Judaism, etc... This would then violate our first amendment rights. We would need to eliminate the first amendment. Hey! Why not eliminate our second amendment while we are at it and give up all our guns?

Now understand, I don't approve of rape, and I don't believe in the religion of Islam; I am just making a point. Hell, if we approve of the right for those of Islamic faith to rape women, we may as well let those of the Jewish faith go back to killing their son's if they disobey them!

Reason needs to come into play at some point. After all, rape and murder is sanctioned in many religions. I don't believe either should be permitted in a civilized world - regardless of what is dictated by a religious organization... But then who determines what is acceptable and what is not? And if those of the Islamic faith are allowed to go free when guilty of rape, it certainly goes without saying that God fearing Christians should be allowed to bar gays and lesbians from their businesses. Maybe we should allow stoning of prostitutes? Your thoughts??

U.S. Bill of Rights:
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

ISIS threatens controversial blogger Pamela Geller in message boasting of '71 trained soldiers in 15 different states'

ISIS appears to declare war on controversial blogger Pamela Geller on Tuesday in an ominous online message claiming it has fighters across America ready to attack "any target we desire."

The threat, posted on anonymous message board JustPasteIt, singles out Geller, who helped plan a Prophet Muhammad cartoon contest that was attacked by two gunmen in Garland, Texas, over the weekend. ISIS claimed responsibility for the shooting early Tuesday, marking the first time the terror group called an American attack one of its own, though lawmakers believe the two men were influenced by the group, not guided directly by it.
